AP Chambers of Commerce & Industry Federation, Confederation of Women Entrepreneurs (COWE), and Team Industries Consultancy Services and GAME (Global Alliance for Mass Entrepreneurship) have organised an awareness program on agro & food processing industries here.
Speaking on the occasion, COWE president & AP Chambers women’s wing chairperson Dr. Geetha Srikanth said that AP Chambers and COWE have been extending handholding support to women entrepreneurs. She expressed happiness that this awareness program is designed to provide valuable guidance for new traders and industrialists in the Agro & Food Processing sector.
Chartered accountant DM Rao explained about the prospective opportunities in different food processing sectors. DIC General Manager V. Adiseshu explained the classification of MSMEs and elaborated on the process of registration to aspiring entrepreneurs. NSIC representative Kamaleswari spoke one the schemes on financial services and raw materials support for industries.
The sessions also focused on government MSME schemes, loans, and subsidies, helping entrepreneurs to explore new opportunities and strengthen their business prospects. More than 100 prospective entrepreneurs from Uttarandra districts participated.
